What I love about Ascension: I love how the Ascension community has extended me such a warm welcome into their church-school family as I begin my new role here as servant-leader. In a world that so desperately needs to be anchored in Christ and His means of grace and forgiveness, it is a joy to serve in a place where the pastor, congregation, teachers, staff, and parents are committed to the mission of our school…to proclaim the Gospel to the next generation and provide a quality education so that our children may grow spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically…with Christ at the center! What a blessing for parents desiring the absolute best for their children!

What I love about Ascension: I love the Ministry, School, Music, and People of Ascension. Their commitment to the true Christian faith and our Lutheran heritage makes it a place of genuine heavenly light upon a hill in our community. I have been richly blessed by God to be a part of such divinely gifted, generous, and gracious people. Here, Christ and Him crucified is at the center of our life together as we journey through here in time to there in eternity.

What I love about Ascension: I love Ascension because it is Christ-centered. We start the day together, focused on Jesus and His Word in chapel, and that Christ-centered message continues throughout the day in our classrooms. We are a family, and it really shows in our words and actions. We aren’t perfect, but we are forgiven and forgiving. I love that that message is taught to my own children and my students every day!
