Favorite Bible verse: Joshua 1:9: Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged; for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

It’s such a comfort to know that no matter what, God is with me, and I don’t have to be afraid or worry. He’s got me.

What I love about  Ascension:   I love Ascension because it is Christ-centered.  We start the day together, focused on Jesus and His Word in chapel, and that Christ-centered message continues throughout the day in our classrooms. We are a family, and it really shows in our words and actions. We aren’t perfect, but we are forgiven and forgiving. I love that that message is taught to my own children and my students every day!

Free time activities: I love to read, spend time with my boys, cheer on the Packers and Brewers, and camp. I enjoy writing and would someday like to be an author or just read great books to kids all day.
