PALS Annual Events

Uniform Give-Away Each school year the PALS organize a uniform give-away. Parents are asked to donate uniform items that have been outgrown, and during school registration these items are made available to other families.

Plant Show Students from kindergarten through grade five receive a free plant, which they care for during the summer. The students may also order flower and vegetable seeds. The next fall, PALS sponsors a plant show where students display what they have grown. Blue ribbon winners compete in a city-wide plant show.

Book Fair PALS host an annual Book Fair, the proceeds of which are used to purchase library books.

Field Day The annual field day is held the last week of school. Students are divided into teams and then compete in fun, outdoor events like a Frisbee throw, a water balloon toss, and a three-legged race.

Popcorn Day Every Friday afternoon the PALS pop popcorn, They ask for donated soft drinks to serve with the popcorn. Students pay $1 for the popcorn and pop, and the money from this sale is used to purchase needed items for the school.
